Yoga

History and Inspiration

Beginning when she was a teenager, Carly’s 20+ years of steady yoga practice is the foundation of her perceptive sensitivity. It is this cultivation of presence that has informed her unique, precise, and warm-hearted instruction for the past decade. She uses non-invasive, hands-on assists and alive, specific, understandable language to lead students toward recognizing and working with themselves where they are that day. Strengthening our physical container allows our inner life and how we move through the world to become more buoyant and resilient. Students find her respectful guidance allows safety and space for their own agency to come forward in exploring themselves.

Her practice and teaching education is based in constant learning from multiple experienced teachers over the years, but is primarily informed by a decade of Todd Jackson’s Inner Body Yoga and Biodynamic trainings.
